]]> The traditional figure of 8 abseil/lowering device has been improved with the addition of ears, to prevent accidental rolling of the rope into a locked position. 

Due to the rope twisting, it is not recommended for use with rope that comes straight out of a bag. 

We strongly recommend that the Figure of 8 is used with a safety back up, for example a Rocker, or a Prussic loop.

]]> The Pro ALLP Tech was the result of years of technical development and research and was originally designed for technical rescue. The screw control system of the Pro ALLP Tech has very fine speed control which allows the technical rope user a finer management of descent, especially in rescue.

The Pro ALLP Tech was the first descender to be tested to prEN 12841-C rope adjustment devices. Most personnel are lead to think that EN341 is the standard for descenders but this is incorrect. EN341 is descenders for rescue, which is a system, not an item of equipment, to fully conform with this standard the descender must be sold with the correct rope as a package.

The device was tested under laboratory conditions and was proven to be compatible with low stretch ropes of 10.5 to 12.7mm from one manufacturer, in compliance with EN1891. The Pro ALLP Tech was also tested with a 200kg mass at F.F.1 1M.

We strongly recommend the that users be trained in the many applications of the Pro ALLP Tech.

]]> The A-B Descender is designed for industrial rope access, technical rescue and intervention. It has a rated maximum load of 300kg, suitable for 2 people & kit.

The handle can be used in squeeze-to-go mode, or can be flipped down for extra leverage and more precision. The handle is spring loaded to return to the storage position when not in use.

The A-B features a Panic Grab Brake (PGB), which may be disengaged if the user requires a fast descent (e.g. Intervention).

The A-B conforms to EN12841-C as a stand-alone rope adjustment device (descender). It also conforms to EN341-B (descenders for rescue), which is for use as part of a system and must be used with the type of rope with which it was tested.
